Documents required to connect a solar power plant owned by a qualified company with a capacity greater than 500 kW and up to 20 MW

  1. The qualification certificate of the executing company issued by the New and Renewable Energy Authority.

  2. Electricity generation license issued by the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency.

  3. A contract between the executing company and the project owner.

  4. A copy of the national ID card, tax card or commercial register of the project owner.

  5. A copy of the tax card and commercial register of the executing company.

  6. A copy of an electrical connection receipt.

  7. A schematic drawing for the installation of solar cells at the project site approved by a union engineer.

  8. Technical specifications of the project and a copy of the catalogs.

  9. Test certificates for the project components.

  10. A study of the effect of the solar cell plant on the network voltage in times of no or low loads.

  11. A study of the effect of the solar cell plant on the palace current of the electrical network.

  12. A study of the maximum load of the solar cell plant, which will be exported to the grid in times of no or low loads.

  13. A study of the effect of the solar cell plant on the palace current of the electrical network.

  15. Electrical diagram of the project and the proposed connection point.
